How many affiliate marketers does this Ebook publishing disaster happen to?

You have just bought a great new ebook publishing package complete with twenty hot Internet marketing ebooks. Each book comes complete with a sales page, thank-you page, squeeze page, mini e-mail letter campaign for your auto-responder, plus private label rights and resale rights. Just thinking about how much money you can make with this hot new package gets your heart pounding – even though you don’t actually know how to market an ebook!

You download the ebook publishing pack to your hard-drive. You open the folder and feel a little daunted by the great array of documents and files that greet you – and the lack of clear instructions about what to do with all this stuff…

You had been so excited by the sizzle of the sales letter that you didn’t stop to think that the steak might be a bit tough to chew on!

You fiddle around with the files for a while and quickly realize that you are out of your depth so you put off doing anything with it right now and shut down your computer…

A few days later you have still done nothing with the ebook publishing package… And there it sits unused and soon forgotten, adding to the clutter on your hard drive. Not only have you not sold a single ebook in the package, you haven’t even read a single page of one!

I suspect this is a fairly common pattern, especially among newbie affiliate marketers who are always on the look out for a short cut to success.

There is nothing wrong with a short cut if you can make good use of it, and there are a lot of excellent PLR ebook packages out there. But most newbie affiliate marketers simply do not know anything about ebook publishing, or even how to get an ebook and its accompanying sales page, download page and so on onto their websites, let alone how to market an ebook.

So to get your ebook pulblished, look at the steps you should take to get a plr ebook from your hard-drive to your website and how to integrate everything so that you can attract customers to your offer, then provide them with a seamless purchasing experience and present them with back-end offers that they will be tempted to add to their original purchase.
